Anyone that has extra items they no longer want can turn their storage unit into a thrift shop. Instead of keeping all these unwanted items in their home, they can bring them to the unit and have potential customers come look through them to see what they want to buy. If they sell enough of their stuff, the money can be used to pay for the unit they're renting, plus some.
